People think that Aurora is just a ditsy blonde who fell in love, but she is actually made us remember that friends can come from the strangest places but will be there to listen non the less (her animal friends).
Tiana definitely taught us to work hard for things but she also taught us to love everyone around you; doesn’t matt if they’re rich or poor, black or white everyone deserves a friend and a bit of love.
Repunzel taught us that sometimes the people we love can be our worst enemy but we should follow what we know will really make us happy and people will be there to love and look after you on the way.
Mulan taught us that family is one of the most important things because they’ll look after you and you’ll look after them even when they don’t want you to. She also taught us just because someone says you can’t doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. I know some people think I’m referring to the start of the movie where she joins the army, but I’m talking about the end where everyone pushes her aside but she still manages to save the day (or you know… all of China) despite the fact her ‘friends’ ignored her just because of her gender.
Pocahuntas taught us that it doesn’t matter what people around you say you have to do, you just need to follow your own path and fight for what you believe in and who you love.
Belle taught us that if you love someone truly you will protect them and make them feel like they’re not an outcast. I’m not just referring to the beast but also her dad; he was called crazy everyday but even when he wasn’t there she told people that they were wrong. Also she taught us that just because someones cute and talks to you all flirty and ‘sweet’ doesn’t mean you should be with them, you should respect yourself. So basically Belle taught us to love yourself, know your value, protect those you love and also screw what people say, books are rad and you should read as many as you can get your hands on.
Ariel taught us that sometimes to get what you want you have to do things that will make you nervous and scared. Not getting the man pfff…. GETTING THE LEGS!!! And seeing a world you’ve only dreamed of and not letting anyone or anything get in your way.
Cinderella taught us that no matter how shitty things are if you want something bad enough fate may just find a way to help you out. Also that if you hold onto things in the past that made you happy and just remember them in hard times you will be okay. Because even in the worst of times things can work out.
Jasmine taught us to respect ourselves and that if people are pressuring you to do something that you don’t want to do, especially if it evolves giving up your dreams and giving into someone elses wishes than you need to find a way to stop it.
Merida taught us that family isn’t always right, but in the end the ones that truly love you will be there. Also that even when a relationship seems difficult- especially with family- things will work out because deep down you love them and they love you.
Everyone thinks that Snow White is just a stupid story showing that a girl needs a man to save her, but in actual fact I believe it teaches us that being kind to other people and helping them is one of the best ways in life to help you get along and escape bad situations
